This valley of Agyang-Myeon is a major setting of Toji, an epic series of 24 historical fiction novels about Korean modern history. Specifically, it's the location of Choichampandaek (최참판댁) which features in the story. I made it through about 50 pages of the first book in the series but, to be honest, it's still a tad over my level for easy reading. Hopefully I can revisit someday when I have more time to devote to it.
