I’ve wanted to visit Geomun-Do for awhile to see the British cemetery from the two years the UK had a military base here over a hundred years ago. I didn’t know it also included the site of Korea’s first tennis court.
Daniel Lafontaine and I met up in Ulsan and drove to Cheongdo for a day of betting on the bulls. We had one winning ticket for a grand total of W100 in winnings, but spent W10,000 on several losing tickets.
