When we go out of town for a weekend trip, I like to stop and visit at least one place spontaneously. This time, it was the Korean War Memorial to the Armed Forces of Thailand, which we just happened to pass by. First of all, I didn't know over 1,200 Thai soldiers died in the Korean War and secondly, I didn't know they had their own memorial here. It was a nice, tranquil spot, well worth getting out of the car to take a look at. (Visit in Google Maps.)
