We took the train to Ssangge Temple but decided to return home by bus.
The sign in the third photo below contratulates Professor Woo-Seok Hwang for getting a stem cell-related patent in Canada. Professor Hwang is the guy who became a rock-star of the bio-tech world about 7-8 years ago due to his apparent progress in cloning but was then exposed for faking his research and went from hero to zero overnight. He's managed to keep researching though, in spite of the disgrace, and seeing the sign here outside Ssangge Temple indicates that his hometown must not be far away. Good to see the hometown folks still cheering on their guy.
