It was too cloudy to see the sunrise, and very cold and windy at the top (and I arrived over an hour early while it was snowing and had to stand around shivering)… but still a nice way to start the new year!

This is What Happens to the Roadway Without the Pigs of Chungang-Dong
Recently they removed the Pigs of Chungang-Dong from the street in front of my office. As you can see, it hasn't taken long for people to start parking their cars all along the street again (which was what the pigs were installed in the first place to prevent).
