I Saw This Dreaded Windows Blue Screen on the Subway Yesterday!

A friend of the family got married yesterday and so Myunghee and the kids came into Seoul and we attended the wedding together. It was very close by where I'm staying, so I brought them over to see the place. The kids wanted to stay for the night… but alas,...
Over the many years I've lived in Korea, I've really never properly seen some of the more historic areas. Thus, I scheduled a five-day mini-vacation to Bukchon, Seoul to take place after the date of my masters thesis defense but before our annual winter trip to the US. Seemed like...

While walking around the neighborhood at the Bandit's Den Homestay, we came across this tree. The persimmons looked better than they tasted, unfortunately.
