Unlucky but Fun Trip to Saryang Island (May 9-10, 2015)

The day before we left, Myunghee lost her wallet at the park in Ansan.

We had a nice drive down on the 9th, but arrived at the boat pier 15 minutes after the last boat left for the day. We lost most of our pre-paid accommodation fee on the island and had to find a motel on the mainland to stay at for the night.

The next morning, the hairbrush in the hotel was coated with something that stuck to Myunghee's hair and it took us almost 15 minutes to get Myunghee untangled (along with her losing some hair).

But even though we left late from the motel, we did get a lucky break to get the last tickets on the 7am boat out to the island.

On arrival, we had a fish soup breakfast at a place that served us spoiled fish… At least we didn't have to pay, but Myunghee felt a little sick most of the day.

Saryang Island is a really pretty place, and I'd love to go again with more time next time…. and without the unlucky events.
