I was feeling quite cheerful as I left this rest area since I'd just asked for a cup of makgeolli, but the proprietor brought me a whole bottle. This was also the first place I'd seen people on the trail. I was told that two big groups had passed by in the morning, but by 3pm when I got there, the trail was empty.
