I Tried a New Raw Octopus Delicacy Today

Cauvery's basketball team  had a tournament today and the families went out together for lunch to a local octopus restaurant. In true Korean fashion, it was men at one table, women at another and kids in the room next door. Because we brought so much business to the restaurant, the owner came out at the end of the meal with a couple free dishes that we hadn't ordered… The ingredients: freshly chopped up raw octopus, raw fish eggs, raw egg, and garlic, hot pepper and seaweed. As you can see, I wasn't the only one surprised enough at the food to take a photo of it. Fortunately, I'd had enough soju to give it a try. It was alright, but a bit difficult to stomach. Still, our group finished the food off completely.

Sometimes I wonder who comes up with this stuff…
