On my way to my next destination, I came across this spot, which was a key battleground in defending the Korean peninsula when the Japanese invaded in 1592. It is also said that a prophecy in the 19th century said that three very rich men would come from the area around the rock in the middle of the river here. Thus, the founders of Samsung, LG and some other group that I don't remember offhand were all from this area.
