Located next to Hoihyoeon Station in Seoul, the historical marker exlains that this spot under the gingko tree was a rest area for the Hoihyeon village of Seoul on the northern slopes of Namsan and an area where a lot of good people used to live. Presumably a lot of good people live in the area now too, but this is hardly a "village" anymore thanks to the skyscrapers and nearby Namsan Market.
