Namsan Park is a major landmark of Seoul, but having visiting a month or two after arriving in Korea back in 1994, I never came back… until we visited with the family a couple weeks ago. The old castle wall of Seoul crossed over this mountain, and just about anything important that's happened in Seoul within the last 600 years or so occurred within sight of the summit here.
