The road into Gongju is one of the prettier sections of the course, but it was getting dark by the time we reached there and the photos didn't come out. At any rate, Gongju is beautiful city with a lot of history, and we managed to arrive in time for the 2013 Baekje Culture Festival, which celebrates the Baekje kingdom which was centered here over a thousand years ago.
