Spending a Few Days at Mallipo to Reflect

We had a great event at Hwaseong in Suweon on Saturday, but afterwards, I was exhausted. On the spur of the moment, I decided to head to Mallipo (Click here to visit in Google Maps.) about two hours south of Seoul for a little quiet time of reflection. It’s not all been quiet; still getting work done. But the change of pace is nice and I’m especially glad to have chanced upon Pinocchio Pension [EXPIRED LINK REMOVED:
https://www.pinocchiopension.com/], a nice place to stay, and apparently built by an American about fifty years ago. The current owners have fixed it up though and are big fans of former Korean President Park Chung Hee (who spent a night here about forty years ago).

Heading back home to Ansan tomorrow morning.
