Lamb Skewers in Suwon with GyeongGi Province Foreign Affairs Specialist Don Valiant

Checking out a new restaurant is always a little risky. But with risk can come reward… and we hit the jackpot yesterday… This hole-in-the-wall place out near the GyeongGi Province offices in Suwon is run by a Chinese-Korean from up near the Tumen river on the northern border of North Korea.

I've been in Korea for a long time, but until yesterday, I had no idea that lamb skewers were anything other than a Middle Eastern dish. They worked out very well for a tasty, and surprisingly affordable, lunch! (Thanks Don, for the treat!)
