This is the location of the Freedom Bridge, across which soldiers were repatriated after the Korean War. There is an amusement park, lots of shopping and a number of monuments on the South Korean side.
Note the two kids in the bottom picture trying to balance umbrellas on their hands. It seems the historical meaning of the location bypassed Treasure and Cauvery somewhat. Maybe when they're older…
