We Demand Our Artist Apartment Volunteer Jobs Back!

I haven't figured out exactly what's happened but apparently someone went around our apartment complex recently handing out free recyclable trash bags and having each recipient sign-off to verify that they received their bags.

Only problem is that it seems those signatures actually turned out to have been placed on referendum ballots voting to replace the existing team of apartment owners association reps with a different set. Now the group that got replaced is trying to collect enough signatures to overturn the recent rebellion, thus the tent below.

I'm guessing this is related to the "flexible" handling of apartment-owner funds that has been a long-term "undocumented feature" of life at the Artist Apartments where we live. It's remarkable how many people want to "volunteer" to hold the purse!
